Reminded

I am humbled by the amount of prayer, encouragement, support and love you have all given me. I am ready to set out (in a few hours actually) for Kenya. I am overjoyed to be able to serve my God! Last night before I fell to sleep the Lord reminded me of one of his promises. This new adventure of mine is a testimony of God's faithfulness and constant pursuing of his precious children. His words spoken...

"I tell you the truth," Jesus said to them, "no one who has left home or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God will fail to receive many times as much in this age and, in the age to come, eternal life." Luke 18:29-30.

What a restful night sleep I had. Love you all!

New York, New York...

I arrived in New York yesterday for Africa training before my departure to Kenya which is on July 23rd. God is meeting me here and showing me himself in little, but huge ways. Again, just confirming my time in Kenya is in his perfect plan and growing my heart more and more for the Kenyan culture, people, and those at Rift Valley Academy and its missionary kids. It took alot of prayer to even get me on the plane yesterday, but I am here and can not deny what the Lord has in store for me. Most of all, his everlasting and overwhelming love that I am surrounded with... I want to do nothing but embrace it.
